Pro-choice Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
I do not support partial birth or late term abortions due to medical "viability" but otherwise I am pro-choice.
No In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
No Do you support expanding federal funding to support entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare?
I support passage of a balanced budget amendment and complete overall of the Social Security system. I support the Cato Institute's 6.2% Solution which would essentially phase out younger citizens from the current system into a market based system over time. This has been scored by the CBO and shown to restore the Social Security system to solvency while also providing a long term solution.
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
No Do you support the protection of government officials, including law enforcement officers, from personal liability in civil lawsuits concerning alleged misconduct?
Eliminate Qualified Immunity and require police officers to have liability insurance for misconduct allegations.
No Do you support increasing defense spending?
I support bringing our troops home from overseas and focusing on true defense instead of involving ourselves in entanglements that largely create new enemies instead of eliminate threats. Turn us in a version of Switzerland, armed and neutral.
No Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
No Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
No Do you support providing financial relief to businesses AND/OR corporations negatively impacted by the state of national emergency for COVID-19?
End corporate welfare.
No Do you support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
Top down education planning does not work. Get the federal government out of education and leave it to state and local officials.
No Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)?
No Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
I believe the government should not be involved in picking winners and losers in any area of the economy but specifically they should eliminate and red tape or preferences towards particular energy sources. Nuclear energy is our best green energy option at this point and should be unfettered by current restrictions that prohibit growth and development in this sector.
No Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
I do not support any gun-control legislation. Shall not be infringed is a pretty clear statement.
Yes Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
No Do you support requiring businesses to provide paid medical leave during public health crises, such as COVID-19?
No Do you support the construction of a wall along the Mexican border?
No Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
I support dramatic reform of the immigration system. Presently the path to citizenship is too difficulty, takes too long, and is mired in red tape. Work visas and pathways to citizenship should be streamlined and made more simple with harsher penalties for anyone that does not participate, both workers and employers alike.
No Should the United States use military force to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a weapon of mass destruction (for example: nuclear, biological, chemical)?
Yes Do you support reducing military intervention in Middle East conflicts?
We should focus on defending our boarders and developing better trade relations throughout the world because it is better to have trade partners than political or military allies.
Yes Do you generally support removing barriers to international trade (for example: tariffs, quotas, etc.)?
Free markets and free trade are paramount to prosperity and peace.
Healthcare reform by making prices and quality date more transparent. Criminal Justice Reform consisting of ending the failed War on Drugs (with pardoning all non-violent drug offenders), ending qualified immunity, ending no-knock raids, and ending gun control which has taken the ability of marginalized and poor citizens from protecting their own lives. And tax reform by focusing on dismantling the progressive income tax in favor of a flat tax with no loop holes.
